Katy ISD stands ready to help students stay fueled up for summer activities with the Summer Food Service program, providing free breakfast and lunch meals to students, aged 18 or younger, regardless of their enrollment.
Representing some of the nation’s most accomplished high school scholars, 26 Katy ISD graduates were named 2025 College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship winners by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Three remarkable Katy ISD 2025 graduates were awarded this year’s KPRC 2 Senior Scholarship, among only 21 recipients chosen from thousands of regional public high school nominees.
Marking the 10th time to earn the distinction since it launched in 2016, Katy ISD has once again been designated a Transparency Star from the Texas Comptroller’s Public Account Office.
Earning national acclaim—for the 23rd straight year—Katy ISD has earned the “Best Communities for Music Education” award from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
At a special reception tonight, trustees from the Katy ISD board, along with District and city leaders, celebrated the Class of 2025’s 132 graduating seniors who committed to military service. The outstanding students were accepted to attend the nation’s military academies or serve in one of America’s military branches or national/state guards and reserves.
