Welcome to Loraine T. Golbow Elementary

Loraine T. Golbow Elementary has proudly served the Katy community for over 30 years. In 2018, our campus received a major renovation to ensure our facilities stay modern and continue to meet the needs of all learners. At Golbow Elementary, we do what’s best for kids.

We are proud to offer a warm, nurturing environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth. At Golbow, we believe that students and staff are lifelong learners who thrive in a supportive, student-centered atmosphere.

Commitment to Learning

We provide a wide range of learning opportunities for both students and staff. Our dedicated teachers use data and a variety of resources to deliver instruction that is targeted and differentiated, ensuring the needs of every learner are met.

To support student success, we offer specialized programs such as:

  • Academic Support Teachers

  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

  • Dyslexia Services

  • Title I Programs

  • ECSE, Pre-K, and Special Education Services

Additionally, Golbow Elementary features a certified science lab facilitator who collaborates with classroom teachers to deliver hands-on science investigations that spark curiosity and engagement. Our fine arts team encourages students to explore their creativity and develop innovative thinking, helping to shape well-rounded, future-ready learners. Many students have had opportunities to showcase their talents both within Katy and beyond.
